Fun for kids

of all ages

* Involve the entire family in baking cut-out butter cookies and decorating them to use as ornament each year. Don’t forget to leave some out for Santa on Christmas Eve.

* Have a “cookie trimming” party. Gather the kids and a few of their friends to create cookie masterpieces. Use traditional cut-out butter cookies and let the kids decorate them as they wish. This is sure to be an event kids will look forward to each year.

* Before a big holiday meal, make a batch of gingerbread men or butter cookies, have the kids decorate them and write names of guests on them to use as place cards.

* Kids can place colorfully iced cookies in a bag they decorated themselves and tie with a ribbon to give gifts to teachers, baby sitters and friends.

* Make your children feel like stars! Videotape them baking cookies and pretending they’re the host of their very own cooking show.

Even the littlest angel in your family can help decorate these fun edible treats.
