Cheri Woodward, proprietor of Faith Mountain Company in Sperryville, will be a guest on the CBS News Nightwatch program this week. The show, which will air Friday, from 2:30-5:30 a.m. will focus on the growth of the mail order business. The movie Platoon will be playing at the Gay Street Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 28 and 29, at 7:30 p.m. each evening. The movie is rated R. Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for children. The coveted title of Mr. Rappahannock was captured by Sean Wayland after a hot competition at Rappahannock County High School last Friday night. Eleven handsome RCHS students vied for the title, delighting the audience, which responded appreciatively. According to the National Weather Service, the holiday weekend is expected to bring partly cloudy weather through Saturday.
