Health programs scheduled
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board invites persons 60 years of age and older to participate in the following Health Promotion/Screening programs to be held at the Rappahannock Senior Nutrition Center: Judy Stevens on Reading Food Labels Dec. 8 at 12:30 p.m.; Melinda Beach, Blood Pressure checks Dec. 10 at 11:15 a.m. and Judy Stevens, Food Guide Pyramid Dec. 17 at 12:30 p.m. If interested in attending any of these programs contact Anita Richards at 825-3100, extension 3321.
Thanksgiving open house set
The Oasis Winery will be hosting an open house featuring complimentary hor d’oeuvres, wine tastings, winery tours, Virginia made specialty food, gift products and live music on stage on Saturday, Nov. 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
