Mary Frances Haney of Sperryville died on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Culpeper Health Care Center.
Survivors include one brother Russell Timbers of Washington, D.C.; one aunt Annie Belle Williams of Washington, D.C.; two devoted cousins Janie Jackson of Sperryville and Peggy Clark of Alexandria; two guardian children Linda Boddie of Washington and Lucy Porter of Washington, D.C.; close friends Rachel Aylor and James Russell, both of Sperryville and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville on Friday, Nov. 21 with the Rev. Henry A. Townes of Culpeper officiating. Interment was in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodville.
W.C. Thompson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Margaret Roberson
Retired nurse
Margaret Browning Roberson, 75, of Staunton and formerly of Kentucky and Flint Hill, died on Saturday, Nov. 22 in the Western State Hospital in Staunton.
Mrs. Roberson was born Sept. 25, 1922 in Flint Hill the daughter of the late James P. and Ruth Eastham Cook. She was a retired nurse.
Survivors include one son Philip Ray Roberson of Jarrettsville, Md.; three brothers J. Warren Cook of Norfolk, Robert E. Cook of Front Royal and Rev. M. Claude Cook of Culpeper; one sister Evelyn C. Walker of Culpeper and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother Wilmer B. Cook.
Graveside services were held in the Flint Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, Nov. 25 with the Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating.
Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.

Leroy Thomas Sisk, 58, of Sperryville Sunday, Nov. 23 at his residence.
He was born Jan. 1, 1939, in Charlottesville to the late Eldon William Sisk and Florine Mae Nichols Sisk.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Peggy Jean Jenkins Sisk; two sons Junior
