The Humility of Thanksgiving

Saturday

Psalm 67

Humility and thanksgiving walk hand in hand. One must be humble in order to feel properly thankful. Conversely, one must have an attitude of thanksgiv ing to experience true humility. Some see humility as a brand of weakness, yet it has been said, “Humility is strong-not bold; quiet-not speechless: sure-not arrogant."

May we resolve to take with us each day of the year the spirit of thankfulness and humility we experience on this Thanksgiving Day. Let us worship Cod with thankful hearts and humble ourselves before Him in praise. “Rejoice always, pray constantly , give thanks in all circumstance: for this is the will of Cod for you."

May you all have a most joyous Thanksgiting Day.
