1 hanksgiving Eve service set A community Thanksgiving Eve Service is being held at Amissville United Methodist Church on US 211 in Amissville Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. The service is open to all who would like to come together to celebrate their thankfulness to God as they begin the holiday. There will be a combined choir between the churches. At least three pastors will participate Rev. Nancy B. White, Rev. William Snead and Rev. Vernon H. DeLong who will bring the main message. There will be a nursery for infants through five years. Refreshments are planned following the service. Rev. White invites the community to attend and join the fellowship afterwards. Participants are encouraged to bring canned or packaged food for those in need, and there will be a monetary offering to help support interfaith caregivers.
