Montpelier Singers
at Theatre Saturday

The Montpelier Singers have been invited for a return performance at The Theatre at Washington on Saturday, April 17 at 8 p.m.
Once again, this chamber ensemble of singers from the Virginia Piedmont region, under the direction of Wallace Hornady, will treat Rappahannock audiences to a rich and varied program of music, ranging form the Renaissance to the twentieth century, from Hans Leo Hassler to Billy Joel and Paul Simon. Among their ranks are two Rappahannock women, Sallie Morgan and Mary O’Meara.
Tickets are $5 and may be reserved by calling the RAAC office or purchased at the door. For reservations call RAAC at 675-3193 or reserve by e-mail at morgans@citizen.infi.net.
Meeting slated
for school addition
The public is invited to attend a meeting on Thursday, April 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the RCHS auditorium concerning the development of the RCHS addition. The basic overall design and classroom configuration has been determined. However, public input can still affect the exterior, the site appearance, and overall aesthetics. An architect from Hayes Large Architects will be present to explain the progress on the development of the new RCHS addition. After the architects’ presentation, the public is invited to provide comments or ask questions concerning the new addition.
Extended hours
for Book Fair
Rappahannock County Elementary School library is currently hosting their annual Scholastic Book Fair which will continue through Monday, April 19. The hours will be 8:15 a.m. until 4 p.m. on regular school days, with additional hours on Thursday, April 15. The library will remain open after school until 8 p.m. on that Thursday only, in order to accommodate those who cannot attend during school hours. Admission is free.
