The Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary in a residence on Mill Hill Road in Flint Hill on April 5. The person filing the report is staying in his parents’ cabin.

A single vehicle accident occurred on U.S. 522 north of Flint Hill during the early morning hours of April 7. The driver of a Chevrolet S-10 hit a deer near the dumpsters at Huntly. Damage to the pickup was estimated at $900.
A separate accident occurred on Harris Hollow Road outside of Washington in the late night hours of April 11. The two-car wreck occurred in the first turn leaving town. There were no injuries, and juveniles were involved.

Shortly after midnight on April 10, Deputy Connie Compton of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office stopped a motorist near the intersection of U.S. 211 and Route 640 near Amissville. The vehicle had a flat tire, and the driver did not have a license.
Further investigation revealed that the driver was Prince Lewis Marshall of Alexandria, a habitual offender. He was arrested and placed in the Rappahannock County Jail.
