An outgrowth of the “Roads Coalition” for Rappahannock County, this program hopes for other involved citizens to begin their own neighborhood “Road Stewardship Program”.
“We plan to survey residents in Old Hollow, to gather opinions and create a map of our road system. Then we will mark areas of concern regarding safety, preservation and environmentally fragile areas,” says one resident involved in the program. “We hope to aid in developing better communication between VDOT and Rappahannock citizens. Our goal is to maintain the rural character of our roads.”
