In other action, the Under-10 Rappahannock 2 team, coached by Mark Ramey, played the Under-10 Culpeper H squad at Rappahannock Elementary School.
Rapp 2 came on strong and led 2-0 before the Culpeper H team fought back to tie the score at 2-2. Rapp 2 again took the lead thanks to a great effort by the offense. The win wasn’t to be though, as Culpeper made the final goal and tied the game 3-3 at the whistle.
Coach Ramey was very proud of the skills his team exhibited and their sportsmanship. With this being only the first game of the season, U-10 Rapp 2 will be a team to watch.
