Home: Town of Washington Occupation: Treasurer of Rappahannock County Accomplishments: Ms. Foster has worked in the Treasurer’s Office for 37 years, first as Deputy Treasurer then as Treasurer since 1973. Ms. Foster is active in the community, serving as Treasurer of the Hampton Foundation and Washington Ladies Auxiliary. She serves as Trustee for Washington 3aptist Church, where she oreviously worked as Treasurer. Ms. Foster was also treasurer for he local March of Dimes.

April Kite Fly
slated for April 17
The Ben Venue Kite Festival, Inc. and the Piedmont Environmental Council invite you to this year’s Earth Day Kite Fly on Saturday, j April 17 from noon until 4 p.m. Rain date is April 18. The event is also sponsored by the Rappahannock Farmers’ Association, Rappahannock 4-H and Girl Scouts. The festival will be held at Ben Venue Farm on Route 729, just off of U.S. 211, east of Washington.
