Word has been received by friends here of the death of Rev. George Johnson, age 93, who passed away at a nursing home in Richmond on Friday.
Rev. Johnson was founder and for many years pastor of Throughfare Independent Baptist Church of Leon. Also for many years he conducted the “Bread of Life” hour each Saturday morning over station W.C.V.A. in Culpeper.
