Benefit set for July 4
;The Hair Cuttery of Culpeper will Ce giving haircuts for only $5 each during the Fourth of July p^lebration in Washington. They ^1 be located on the porch of the Rappahannock Department of Social Services building on Gay Street from noon until 4 p.m. They are doing this “cutathon” as a public service to benefit child dnd family programs run by the Department of Social Services. All proceeds will be donated to the department and be used for child abuse prevention and family preservation work. They will also hold drawings for prizes throughout the day. The Rappahannock Nature Camp is currently underway and will continue through July 9 at Singing Creek near Sperryville. This is a day camp for girls and boys age eight to 14, devoted to the study and exploration of local natural history. For information call Lyt Wood at 675-1088.
