Nelson Bums sheared the pastor after 214 were reported on roll during the Son Castle Faire themed week of Vacation Bible School. A number of children made professions of faith due in part to the inspirational messages studied in their class. Special thanks to everyone who taught, prepared, directed, attended, and assisted to make this a Successful week.
The Amissville United Methodist Church will hold their Vacation Bible School beginning July 12 through July 16 form 9 a.m. until 12. Vacation Bible School is open to all children kindergarten through seventh grade. The church is located on U.S. 211. Please call 937-5480 for a preregistration form.
Rappahannock County Soccer League’s early fall registration will continue through the summer. After July 31, there will be an increase of $10 to register. Please contact Sara Lawrey at 675-1781 for more information.
On July 4, Rappahannock County Soccer League will host a booth to raise moiiey for new goal posts on Gay Street in Washington from 12 until 5 p.m. Donations of pies and homemade breads are needed as well as volunteers to rotate working in the booth.
