Ken and Fran Norman and family were joined by a couple of other families for a weekend of camping on the Thornton River.

Rena Burke, Mary Wiley and Travis Wiley joined other members of the DAR, UDC, and Colonial Dames on the lawn of Salubria for Sunday afternoon tea. Salubria is located in the Stevensburg area. The old mansion was built in the mid-1700’s by the Rev. John Thompson. Many of the ladies present wore colonial dresses and accessories.

Richard Burke and Dan and Bessie Norman were among those attending the Woodville community pond picnic at the Manwarings on Saturday.

June Clark’s visitors during the week were H.B. and Betty Wood, Daniel and Sally Keyser, Odell and Kathleen Adams, Hiedi Bullock, Billy and Nina Fox, Joe Baldwin and Misty Hitt.
