At the June meeting of the Rappahannock County Library Board of Directors, library director David Shaffer announced that the EBSCO host journal database will be available through the library’s computers on Monday, June 28, and will be available for remote users shortly thereafter.
Funded by a grant from the Friends of the Library (FOL), this service will enable the user to access a database containing searchable full text of over 430 periodicals, and searchable indexing and abstracts for over 500 titles. The database will prove an invaluable tool for researchers and students, providing current and historical information on countless topics.
