Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Clark, 88, of Flint Hill died Tuesday, June ■ 22 at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
She was born March 28, 1911 in Roanoke, a daughter of the late Benjamin Hatsell and Mary Cooding Hatsell.
Mrs. Clark was a former resident of Alexandria and Broad Run.
While a resident of Alexandria she served as administrator of the Anne Lee Memorial Home, a former nursing home on North Fairfax Street in Alexandria.
She was a member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Alexandria and of the Daughters of the King of that church.
While a resident of Broad Run she was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Joseph Claffy of Flint Hill and a son and daughterin-law, Benjamin D. (Joe) and Sherry Clark of Herndon.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, June 25 at Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains with the Rev. Caroline Smith Parkinson. Burial was at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
