He was bom July 2, 1919 in New York City, N.Y. to the late Adam Senkevich and Theresa Anastasia Bortnick Senkevich.
Mr. Senkewitz was a decorated veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by a sister, Tanya M. Robson of Falls Church and a special friend, Ernest William Hiers Sr. of Charleston, S.C.
Graveside services were held Monday, June 28 at Woodville Cemetery with Father Leo Zonneveld officiating.
Honors were provided by Culpeper American Legion Post #330 and V.F.W. Post #2524.
Found and Sons Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.

Hazel Lillard Hawkins, 70, of Boston died Sunday, June 27 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
She was bom April 11, 1929 to the late Harry Clifford Lillard and Ruth Petty Lillard.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph R. Hawkins .and her brother, Reid Lillard.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two daughters, Linda Hawkins of Virginia Beach and Sharon Simms and her husband Randy Simms of Boston; a granddaughter, Amanda Simms, also of Boston and a sister, Hilda Marshall of Culpeper.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 30 at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. John S. Farrar officiating.
Interment followed at Fairview Cemetery.
