Music listening class set
Learn how to listen to and appreciate your favorite music. Classes will cover mainly classical and jazz genres. Learn how to discern the basic elements of music and the different instruments in an orchestra; discover some of the history behind the music and the composer. There are two sessions. Session One: July 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22. Session Two: Aug. 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26. Both sessions will begin at 10 and end at 11 a.m. Fees are $60 per person, per session. Payment must be made at the beginning of each session for the entire session. Call Leslie at 937-2103 for information.
Organizational soccer meeting set
There will be an organizational meeting and tryout for a U12/U13 boys travel soccer team at St. Luke’s School in Culpeper on Tuesday, July 6 from 7 to 8 p.m. Call Leanne Rutkowski at 825-1760 or Sara Lawrey at 675-1781 for more details or to express interest if unable to attend.
Reunion scheduled
Former Aileen employees will gather for their annual reunion on Saturday, July 17 at 12 at the Flint Hill carnival grounds. Please bring a covered dish and drink to share. For more information call Joyce Pullen at 9878091. All former employees are invited to attend.
Gymkhana scheduled
Gymkhana, games on horseback, will be held at Indian Run Farm in Huntly on July 10 beginning at 9 a.m. The event will benefit Old Rag Mountain Pony Club. All ages are welcome. The cost is $5/class. For more information call Sherry Hamill-Huff at 675-3848.
