The LDP will be based on the market rate on the day the grain is sold. We will need sales tickets for each load sold in order to determine payment.
Farmers who store grain on the farm are also eligible for a LDP. You will need to sign form CCC-666 on the date you want payment. The amount you receive is based on the market rate for that day. Once you receive a LDP on the grain, it is not eligible for a loan.
If you get a loan on the grain, you are not eligible for a LDP. When you are ready to repay the loan, you can pay it off at the lower of the principal plus interest, or the market rate on the date of repayment.
