Virginia State Police responded to two auto accidents in the county last week.
Shortly before 7 p.m. on June 22, 31 year-old Vemane Gebremariam of Washington, DC ran off the road on Route 642 just east of Route 611 in Amissville. He over corrected, went across the road, hit an embankment and overturned, Damage to his 1993 Ford station wagon is estimated at $4000. The driver was not injured, but has been charged with reckless driv! ing.
