Park Superintendent Douglas K. Morris announced recently that Shenandoah National Park is sending a mountain family photograph album to many local historical societies and libraries. The album contains copies of 100 historic photographs of mountain residents taken between 1926 and 1937.
The photographs are part of the park’s archival collection which is currently being cataloged and will not be available for public use for several years. “While this work is being accomplished, we are attempting to make some resources available by distribution of this album,”
