Deadline extended
The deadline for filing an application for tax relief for the low income elderly and disabled is normally July 1, however, due to the Fourth of July holiday and the closing of government offices on July 3, applications will be accepted through Wednesday, July 5.
For additional information call the Commissioner of Revenue Office at 675-3513.
Holiday closing
All Rappahannock County government offices will be closed ; on Monday, July 3 and Tuesday,
ju July 4. The Rappahannock *j Library will also be closed July 3 and 4.
The Rappahannock National S Bank and F&M Bank will operate 3 with normal hours on Monday, i July 3. Both establishments will i be closed on July 4.
The Rappahannock News will be closed July 4. All deadlines will back up by one day for the July 5th issue.
. Soccer Camp set
for July 10-14
Carl Gray, coach of the RCHS girls’ varsity soccer team, will direct a camp for all county youth soccer players ages 5-18 at the RCES field the week of July 10. Coach Gray will bring other “A” Licensed coaches, college and high school players to assist him. The camp will run from 4 to 7
9 p.m. • Players will need a soccer ball (which can be purchased at camp), shinguards and water. Cost with a soccer ball is $65 for the first player in a family and $35 tor each sibling. Without the soccer ball the fees are $55 and ~ $25. Applications can be picked up at the Rappahannock Library. Deadline is July 1. Call 937-5794 after 6 p.m. if you have any questions.
