Robert L. Weinberg, a member of the Rappahannock County Boards of Zoning Appeals, was among the graduating class of the 16th Virginia Certified Boards of Zoning Appeals Program on June 2.
The certification program is an educational effort designed to provide new and veteran Boards of Zoning Appeals members with a comprehensive introduction to zoning practices and the critical responsibilities borne by members of local Boards of Zoning Appeals (BZA).
The state and national award winning program is sponsored by the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics and Cooperative Extension at Virginia Tech and the Virginia Citizen’s Planning Association.
Virginia Tech Extension Specialist, Michael Chandler said the program featured a rigorous set of requirements.
