Fauquier County Parks & Recreation is seeking to fill this position, which will be responsible for planning, coordinating, developing and implementing park plans and to oversee park improvement projects.
Qualified applicants must possess considerable knowledge in landscaping, horticulture, building maintenance, janitorial supplies, maintenance and operations of tools and equipment. The ability to supervise subordinates and to work well with staff and the general public is also needed. Preferred applicants should have any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school; experience in maintenance of facilities and grounds; possess a valid driver's license; and successfully pass a criminal background check. Minimum starting salary is $26,971 with excellent fringe benefits.
