In a reprise of last year’s highly successful “Taste of Rappahannock”, Headwaters (The Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation) will sponsor an evening of fine food and local wines on September 16.
The event, again at the former Washington School on Mt. Salem Avenue, will begin under a tent on the lawn at 7 p.m. with appetizers prepared by Rappahannock B&Bs and wines from several of our excellent local vineyards.
Guests thereafter will be invited to graze at indoor tables offering a wide selection of dinner dishes prepared and contributed by many of the county’s best and most popular restaurants and farms.
Last year’s gathering having sold out at its limit of 144, attendance this year has been expanded to 180 people, but reservations will be closed when that number is reached. The cost of the evening will be $100 per guest, of which $75 is tax-deductible.
