The Church of Scientology’s nationally acclaimed Drug-Free Marshal program recently announced an essay contest for Northern Virginia children between the ages of 6-14.

Children are invited to write an essay, of any length, explaining why it is important to live a drug-free life and how they can help their family and friends become and stay drugfree.

The contest begins July 1 and runs until Aug. 20. Entries should be sent to Dania Fradkin, Regional Coordinator, Drug-Free Marshals, 1701 20th St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009.

The winner will receive $100. All entrants will get a Drug-Free Marshals pledge and badge.
