Funds are available to serve the unmet needs of the physically and/or sensory disabled consumers in the three county area through the Rappahannock Rapidan Disability Services Board. These funds may be used to expand existing services, or to develop a new program. Up to $20,000 is available.
The 1999 Needs Assessment outlines several key areas that need to be filled with goods and/or services directly addressed to meeting the needs of the disabled ! including: transportation, | housing, assistance and advo- ' cacy, recreational, educational and accessibility, to name a ’ few.
