Do you have items in your attic too dear to pitch, too sentimental to sell? Why not pass a few such treasures along to Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL). Suitable items will be sold at a charity auction during the animal shelter's annual fund raiser to be held on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Windrush Farm.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from both the auction and dinner will be used for operations and improvements at Rappahannock's no-kill shelter. Any unsold items will be passed along to the White Elephant, which in turn donates its fourth quarter profits back to RAWL. Donors will receive full tax credit and RAWL full benefit either way.
