Ben and "Elbe" went on to place second in two-year old Alpine milkers in the very competitive Open Senior Doe Show on Saturday.
"Ellies" daughter, Bearly StormE Eclipse placed first (out of 14) in her class of intermediate kids on Sunday and Ben finished fifth in showmanship. With a pocketful of other first, second and third place ribbons, Ben was given the Premier Youth Alpine Exhibitor Award before he headed home late Sunday.
Adam and Austen Rhein were first year exhibitors in the Nubian classes. Austen's doe "Pepper" placed forth in under two-year old milkers (Youth) and a very respectable fifth in the Open Show.
