Trail ride, chili contest planned
The Rappahannock Hunt will sponsor a fall trail ride and chili contest on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 11 a.m. at Powell and Wendy O'Bannon's Walnut Knoll Farm at Rixeyville. There will be refreshments midway and a picnic following, featuring the famous chili contest. Prizes will be awarded. If you can't bring chili, bring a dish to share. Drinks will be provided. Bush-Alien-Wolf campaign rally set
Come and enjoy an old-fashioned campaign rally sponsored - by the Rappahannock County Republican Party on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the Washington Volunteer Fire Hall.
