Ready, set, read!
Would parents encourage their children's love of reading if they could? Of course. What's more, they can!
Scholastic Bonk Fairs come to Rappahannock County Elementary School Library on Tuesday, Oct. 23 through Friday, Nov. 3 to bring the best books and learning products from more than 150 publishers to readers of all ages. The fair is open to the entire community.
The Book Fair features traditional children's favorites and new works by popular authors and illustrators. Parents and teachers will find plenty which will interest them too. The fair is open daily from 8:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. on school days. A special Family Event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 25 during the Parent Teacher Conferences. Hours that day will be 8:15 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a break for dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!
When you visit the fair, look for the Classroom Wish List display to see how you can help build your child's classroom library. This is one goal of the Book Fair. Visitors can purchase and donate requested books for any classroom's library.
Don't miss out on the Scholastic Book Fair Oct. 24 through Nov. 3. For more information, you may call Aney Massie at 987-8259.
