This phrase speaks of a decade dedicated to nature, peace, and simplicity.
Though controversial, a generation of “baby boomers” was coming of age. They have now patented a new generation, complex and state-of-the-art; the leaders of a tomorrow which already has brilliantly dawned upon the new day.
As we separate the wheat from the chaff, let us remember those basic ideals of the simple life, the simplistic beauty of the gifts God has given us. The only price of admission is appreciation-something that money cannot buy. We can only hope that the young people of today will take the time to harvest enough wheat from our yesterdays to sustain their tomorrows.
Most importantly, may each generation take the opportunity to praise the Creator as we participate in worship each Sabbath, remembering that God’s gifts to us are forever priceless.
