A few years ago he and wife Marianne purchased property here in Boston and opened and operated a successful bed and breakfast inn, known to many as Thistle Hill Bed and Breakfast. Illness resulted in the closing of Thistle Hill and relocation to North Carolina, where in his home on the Neuse River, he spent his final days.
Our community extends deep sympathy to his family who have issued an invitation to attend his funeral services, Monday, Oct. 23 at 11 a.m. at CloreEnglish Funeral Home.
