to hear of their county as one evening while watching television there in Florida, an announcement came across the screen about "Cooter's Place" in Sperryville. We imagine after this ten day trip they were glad to be back home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Graves are extending a welcome to everyone to attend their Apple Harvest Festival at Graves Mountain, Syria this Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. each day. This marks their 31st year for the festival. Beginning at 11 a.m. daily they will be making apple butter the old fashioned way. Home cooked meals will be available. This is a reminder to go to the festival and don't disappoint the Graves, who will be looking for everyone.
In our prayer list this week we covet for Albert Goodall, Elder Nelson Pettit, Rev. and Mrs. Richard Woodard, Mrs. Rosie Wharton, Mrs. Mollie Sisk and many others on each of our minds.
Wedding anniversary wishes go out to Ben and Alma Jones of "Cooter's Place” whose day is today and Mrs. and Mrs. Ricky Shaw who will celebrate another year together on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
Also birthday wishes are extended to Mrs. Stephanie Shaw who adds another year Monday, Oct. 16.
