Sonny Shroyer, who plays Deputy Enos Strate' on the hit TNN series the "Dukes of Hazzard," will be at Cooter's Place in Sperryville on Oct. 14 and 15 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. The weekend will also feature free music, a car show, and Cooter's Country Picnic.
Though Shroyer is perhaps best known for his role of the bumbling, big hearted good ol’ boy Deputy Enos, he is a versatile actor who has appeared in over a hundred films and television shows, including a cameo as the legendary Bear Bryant in the mega hit "Forrest Gump." His recent performances include important roles in "The Rainmaker," "A Lesson Before Dying," and the upcoming Hallmark Hall of Fame special, "The Runaway".
