In particular, small items with a value of under $100 are needed. Also, merchandise made or sold in Rappahannock County is especially desired. Smaller items will be sold through a silent auction; colorful cowboy "Doc" Mitchell will auction big-ticket items live.
A few promo items already received for the later category include dinner for two at The Inn at JLittle Washington, a portrait of the subject of the buyer's choice by local artist Sandra Forbush, and a fly-fishing trip headed by trained guide and national wildlife lobbyist Tom Sadler.
