Church, dressed in colonial costumes as well, will be serving a Colonial Christmas Candlelight Dinner both Saturday and Sunday evenings.
Guided walking tours of the historic village, led by Barbara Wayland, will be provided as well as an open house at Heritage House Bed and Breakfast with a Wassail Bowl.
Sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and Community (RAAC), the festivities begin Friday at 8 p.m. in the Theatre of Washington, Va., on Gay Street where a Christmas Cartoon Carnival offers a showing of favorite Christmas cartoons. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for students and $3 for children.
