The Rappahannock County School Board is soliciting bids for the purchase of one 1982 12-passenger, gas powered engine, hereafter referred to as “vehicle" The vehicle is being sold in an “as is" condition. It is equipped with, among other things, the following:

1) a new engine installed in 1994

2) a new Ricon lift installed in 1997 (for handicapped use), and

3) tires in good condition j

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS !

A. Bidders must submit one original and two copies of their proposed bids '

to David M. Gangel, Superintendent, Rappahannock County School Board,

6 Schoolhouse Road, Washington VA 22747 no later than noon on later

RIGHT TO REJECT

CONDITION OF VEHICLE

A. The vehicle is in running condition, but is expressly being sold in a "AS I9"

condition. The Rappahannock County School Board shall not be liable for

any repairs or replacement parts for the vehicle. B. Rappahannock County School Board warrants that no liens exist against thevehicle,

and that the awarded bidder will be provided with a valid

Certificate of Title. •

METHOD OF PAYMENT [ The awarded bidder shall submit a cashier's check in the amount specified on the bid to Rappahannock County Public Schools, 6 Schoolhouse Road Washington VA 22747 The check must be submitted upon receipt of the bid award but no later than two weeks beyond the date of notification by the RCPS.
