Town Christmas Party set

The Town of Washington will have its annual Christmas party on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 5 p.m. at the Town Hall followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree at the courthouse at 7 p.m.

All residents and employees who work in the town are invited to attend. Please RSVP to the Town Office by Dec. 6 at 675-3128 with the number of people who will be attending and the food item you wish to bring from salad, vegetable, meat or dessert categories.

On-going aerobic

classes underway

On-going aerobic classes are held at tHe Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington bn Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:15 to 9:30. A total body workout which includes 30 minutes of low-impact aerobics, floor work, weights and yoga stretches. For information call Beth Levick at 635-6149. ;•

Tenth Annual Alumni

Basketball Tournament

The Rappahannock County High School Athletic Department will host an Alumni Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 29 and 30 at the high school gymnasium. Players are needed to fill teams in a men's and women's bracket. ^

There will be a $10 registration fee per player which must be paid in advance. Players will be issued and allowed to keep their uniform shirt.

Alumni interested in playing or in being a team captain/coach should contact Kelly * Settle at RCHS 987-8575. Please contact Mrs. Settle by Dec. 15 so players can be assigned to i teams. ,

Proceeds from this event, to include registration fees will be used to support RCHS ath- | letic programs.
