Additional survivors include seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and four sisters, Daisy Lucas, Julia Sisk, Marie Smith and Katie Kerns and her husband Willie of Catlett.
She was predeceased by her husband David Lee Woodward Sr.; one sister, Mary Woodward and five brothers, Richard Bayne, Johnny Bayne, Charlie Bayne, Willie Bayne and Ben Bayne.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Nov. 27 at Found & Sons Chapel with Pastor Charles ShifTlet officiating.
Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers were David Lee Woodward II, Rob Weinzetl, Terry Woodward, Christopher Woodward, Gregory Woodward and Donald Woodward Jr.
Honorary pallbearers were Michael Bowen Jr. and Lewis Compton Jr.

James Franklin "Billy" Nicholson Sr., 62, of Castleton died Tuesday, Nov. 2l at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. He was born Oct. 8, 1938 in Madison County.
Mr. Nicholson was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife Mary C. Nicholson; his father James C. Nicholson of Castleton; three daughters, Judy Meredith and husband
