Saturday's schedule begins at 10 a.m. with an all-day Christmas bazaar to benefit the Hearthstone School. The bazaar is being held in the Trinity Episcopal Church Parish Hall.There you can find wonderful gift ideas for the entire family.
Throughout the day, Saturday and Sunday, visitors can browse through the village shops, attend a bake sale, visit Father Christmas, drink hot cider and sing carols around the Yule Log behind Peter Kramer's building on Gay Street . There is also a Christmas art show at the Middle Street Gallery.
The Washington Baptist Church, located on Gay Street, will be serving its Colonial Christmas Candlelight Dinner featuring traditional ham, turkey and all its trimmings, beginning at 6 p.m. on Saturday and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Tickets are $15 per person; $5 for children ten and under. All of the waiters and waitresses will be dressed in colonial costume and there will be Christmas music.
On Sunday at 3 p.m.,/there will be a special pianoforte recital performance at the Theatre of Washington where Lambert Orkis will play the music of Mozart and Beethoven. Tickets are $15 per person.
