Roy Lillard

Retired foreman

Roy C. Lillard, 92, of Etlan died on Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Madison.

He was bom Nov. 28, 1907 in Nethers, the son of the late Allen Yowell Lillard and Annie Frances Lillard.

He was a retired foreman with 51 years of service for the Virginia Department of Transportation in Madison and a member of Etlan United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Utz Lillard of Etlan; a son, Russell C. Lillard and his wife Lois of Morgantown, W.Va.; two brothers, Elmer C. Lillard of Gotha, Fla. and Thomas L. Lillard of Etlan; a sister, Pearle L. Nethers of Sperryville; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Sharon Faye Lillard; and five brothers, Walter Allen Lillard, Guy Thurman Lillard, Robert Nelson Lillard, Johnnie Yowell Lillard and Charles Maury Lillard.
