This weekend:
Acoustiphrenia, (top) will be performing at the Blue Moon Cafe on Friday, Dec. 1 from 9 p.m. to midnight. The sound will be an acoustic blend of folk, rock country and bluegrass, performed by Dulcie Taylor, songwriter, vocals, harmonica, lap dulcimer and guitar; Franklin Taggart, songwriter, vocals and guitar and Liberty Dawne, vocals and fiddle.
Right, Auldridge, Bennett and Gaudreau will be playing their style of bluegrass at Blue Moon on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9 p.m. to midnight. Mike Auldridge was a founding member of the bluegrass band Seldom Scene and along with Jimmy Gaudreau was a founding member of the band Chesapeake. Richard Bennett played with J.D. Crowe and The New South, one of the finest bluegrass bands in the country for several years before deciding to go solo with his own band. There will be a $12 cover charge.
