guidance department to all in attendance. Guidance Counselor Mrs. Robin Campbell was on hand to discuss her program, available scholarships, frustrations and successes, to solicit parental involvement and to answer questions. Her attendance was greatly appreciated.
We encourage all RCHS parents to mark your calendars now so that you might attend these meetings which are held every third Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. We want all friends of RCHS to be a part of the process. Please consider getting involved.
• Fifth grade teacher Mrs. Lois Markee and RCES Art teacher Mrs. Harriette Rosenblatt have been nominated to co-chair the School Council, the elected body of RCPS staff who oversee the Greve Foundation Grant that our system was awarded (among other things) and plan staff development opportunities for our system. The Council is extremely grateful to Ms. Susan Payne for her energy and professionalism during her term as chair.
• The RCHS Senior class recently held a Service Auction at Payne's Auction Barn in Amissville. The students offered a variety of services for which friends and
