Coach Mike Dayton pushed his chargers hard this week with three-hour practice sessions on Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving. "We really don’t have any goto' guys on this team for scoring," Dayton said.

"Were going to have to hustle, fight, and scrap for every point on offense. We are going to have to play tough defense for all 32 minutes of every game if we expect to be in each game. Most of all, we are going to have to stick together and play as a team, no matter what happens."

Both Coach Dayton and Assistant Coach Ricky Shaw are hoping that seniors Mark Wharton and Chris Fletcher can step up and show the oncourt leadership necessary to keep the squad playing together.

JV Head Coach, Mike Atkins, has watched his squad scrimmage both the Varsity and the Junior Panthers. "We've got a long way to go," he said.

"Well know a little bit more after we scrimmage Highland next week. "Both the Varsity and the JV squads traveled to Highland for a scrimmage on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
