Betty Kay Kilby has been named “4-H Girl of the Year” in Rappahannock. Betty is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kilby and a member of the Sperryville Senior 4-H Club. She has completed ten projects. Her main interest is in the clothing projects, but she has also taken projects in other fields of home economics.
The 1961 “Boy 4-Her of the Year” from Rappahannock is Lyle Updike, 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Updike of Washington. Lyle has been an outstanding 4-H Club
