Rappahannock County Planning Commission
The Board of Supervisors of Rappahannock County is seeking a qualified person to serve as the representative from Wakefield District to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission. The applicant should be a land owning resident and registered voter of Wakefield District, interested in planning and land use issues. Applicants may include the incumbent representative, whose term of office expires on May 1, 2001.
Planning Commission members serve a four-year term of office. The Planning Commission has a regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, VA on the third Wednesday of each month, and meets on such other occasions as may from time to time be necessary. The members are compensated at $20.00 per monthly meeting.
