• Legos! Does anyone have spare L'egos hiding in your attic or basement? Legos are a wonderful toy for teaching creative problem solving and logic as well as many other valuable math skills.
Mrs. Jennifer Deal recently received a grant to purchase a Lego work station for her Kindergarten classroom, but needs Legos to go with it. If you have extra ones that you would be willing to dpnate, please drop them by RCES or call Jan Makela at 987-8259 and •we will make arrangements to get them to Mrs. Deal.
• On Monday, March 12, the RCES PTO and the School Council will co-sponsor a Roundtable Discussion focusing on the Teacher Request Policy at RCES. We will hold the meeting at 3:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria immediately following bus > dismissal in hopes that parents will stay for this infor. mative meeting.
Please come with your ideas and concerns and why you do or do not support this policy. There are valid reasons for supporting it or not. We are hoping that the policy 1 might be adjusted to better accommodate the concerns of both parents and teachers, , and to better meet the needs of all of our students.
