The Flint Hill United Methodist Church Administrative Board will meet on Thursday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mary Frances Bywaters.
Community Lenten Services will begin this week at the Washington Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 7.
The covered dish dinner will begin each week at 6:15 p.m., worship service will follow at 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
The speaker this Wednesday will be Rev. Rosalie Hoddinott of New Zealand, who is filling the pulpit at Trinity Episcopal Church for several weeks. We welcome her to the Lenten service.
Irene Hamilton who has been spending some time with her sister, Mrs. Thelma Crane and family returned to her home at High Point, N.C. last Sunday.
Plan now to take part in the 23rd annual Fodderstack 10K Classic Race which is scheduled for Saturday, April 21 beginning at 10 a.m.
The race starts at the warehouse in Flint Hill, continues down the Fodderstack Road and ends at the courthouse in Washington.
